My wish for all you amazing women out there is for you to find the time every day to give yourself a pep talk every day that will pump you up and boost your self-esteem by reading or saying positive affirmations. Why would I want that for every woman? Because practicing daily positive affirmations is a form of self-care and can help you overcome fear, self-doubt, self-sabotage, and also just help you believe in yourself and allow you to see what you are capable of achieving…. which is anything and everything!
If you aren’t familiar with positive affirmations, they are phrases that you can say to yourself to build yourself up, improve your confidence, and get you through times that might be challenging or difficult. This helps with overcoming negative thoughts that can affect how you see yourself, and what you think you are capable of in life, or in health and fitness, etc. Positive affirmations focus on affirming your self-worth, they help give you a kinder and broader view of yourself, and hopefully will reshape how you think and feel about yourself, especially if you are feeling down or are having negative thoughts.
Remember, health and wellness encompass not only your body, but also your mind, spirit, and soul! So let’s nurture and practice self-care for ALL of you!
